Long time DCF user here.

I wouldn’t touch that tent with a 10ft carbon pole. The 0.34 oz/yd2 won’t last long in my opinion. It is ludicrously fragile, far more than the more common 0.52 oz.

There are far better options out there.

I'm re-reading the specs of the tent and the dyneema and I can't seem to find what you are referring to.

Andrew Skurka's review is up.

As expected the tent failed during use (actually during setup). On its 23rd night of camping on soft ground and light winds.
He suspects had the weather been windy the failure would have been much earlier.

Yeah, I saw that too.

I would steer clear until they use a heavier weight of DCF. It pretty much tore along the edge of the reinforced patch at the top of the door.
