All,

My wife received her Kakwa 40 back pack yesterday (her previous pack was the 2014 Osprey Exos 38).

She loaded it up with about 6kg and took it for a stroll in the neighbourhood (quite hilly) and came back about an hour later very impressed.

It is completely made out of Ultra 200 and has 2x hip belt pockets (too small for her phone), 2x stretchy shoulder pockets (big enough for her phone) and a "dual pull" hip belt. She has a size "S" and on the website it stated 770 grams for it but (unless my scales are off) when I weighed it, it came out as 730 grams.

The pack is very well made, double stitched and will last her quite a few years by the looks of it.

We are heading to the Blue Mountains for a long weekend hiking and hope to do a more detailed report then. But the initial impressions are very good.
