For those of you into survival shows, you might find of interest a new tv show that ran in NZ this year. It's called Survive Aotearoa and follows the exploits of a couple of ex-soldiers as they go through a new survival scenario each episode.
It's pretty low key stuff - they don't run everywhere like Bear Grylls, or put themselves through extreme discomfit like Les Stroud, but the situations are plausible (though fabricated) and the advice seems useful.
