Oh so soft to the touch....light & very warm.
Perfect for taking in those chilly summit views,

They're longer than your average beanie too, you could probably cut some
eyes out of it & use it as a makeshift balaclava ! But only if you really had to.

I just bought 2 too. Lovely. No doubt more functional than my down beanie, but both will get a turn this weekend.

Yes, but its no joke really. Its a good point because its also long enough to store a pony tail or big hair, which is an important consideration for some when buying beanies
