Im looking at some second hand two person tents - and came across a MSR on Gumtree. It looks good except the MSR stencil brand is smudged across the tent.
Is this common? Seemed odd quality control for a company with their reputation. Im in no way making accusations against the seller who seems nice and legit - but maybe he bought on line in good faith and its a copy? Or am I just too cynical now a days......................
Would love to hear if others have struck this so I can look to buy confidently.

I had a browse at a few things MSR I have. Without exception it's all quality stuff and in particular the logo is always prominent/clear/well formed on the item.

In this day and age of counterfeits it does sound a little dodgy.....
