Here's a few from my recent winter Overland Track trip. Shot on an Olympus E-3 and Zuiko Digital 12-60/f2.8-4.

Enjoy!

Beautiful shots
Is there less snow this year - or is winter always a mixture of snow coverage?
I had imagined that a lot of the track would be in snow this time of year.

Yes, nice set of images there Nick. Winter puts the wild back in wilderness.
There has been very few good snow dumps this year. So far.

We had a bit but not too much... I'm not overly experienced with winter walking, but I think June is generally a bit early for the big falls, which are more jul-aug-sep???

First one was taken at the Artist's Pool, around the back of Cradle Mountain. We went south-north and came out via Scott Kilvert Hut and over Hanson's Peak.

Looks like you had the perfect mix of conditions, from falling snow to blue sky. Lucky bugger.
