The waterfall at Eagle Rock RNP

Postby dugsuth » Mon 13 Aug, 2012 1:37 pm

Hi All,

Just wanted to share some pics I took on the weekend at Eagle Rock, RNP. The wind was absolutely howling, and as you can see, the waterfall was more of a waterfly. The pics were taken and edited on my iPhone (hence the grainy resolution).

Terrific shots - I presume you might have got a bit wet when crossing the creek further inland?
Did you go on to the next waterfall [Curra Brook]?

Thanks eggs. We actually put on full jackets to cross the creek and it was a good thing we did, it felt like we were in a proper storm for the 10 or so metres as we crossed the creek. We did hike further on to the next major creek where we had lunch on a nice protected rock in the cove, really beautiful.
