This was our walk in August that was meant to be Jackson Creek Track, Myrtle,Meston, Junction and up onto Cathedral. We aborted at Meston after taking 5 hours to get to Meston from Myrtle

Great pictures.

I was there 5 months ago, how different it looks and challenges it presents when snow is around? My son just said - was with me when we were there in April - when can we go the area in the snow?

Tell him about the frozen boots and wet socks always makes for a good start to the day,( have to remember to open your boots right out or you wont get them on), and breaking through the ice and having a boot full of very cold water.
