Well spotted eggs, just checked Google Earth and the rock formations match the view from the outlet from Croaking Lake looking to Remote Peak.

I think there are only 2 lakes which are readily accessible on the traverse - Islet Lake and Croaking Lake.
[Apart from Peddar of course]

Hi Ian, Brian et. al.,

the side-trip to Remote Peak /Croaking Lake was only about 4 hours (return) from Citadel Shelf; this included about half an hour on the summit & at least half an hour swimming at the lake. The regrowth looks to be very slow still so should be a clear walk for some years to come, a little sad to see the area so scarred.

A few additional photos of that area below

Yes, the only other lake which we passed by (morning of day 2 after summiting Koruna Peak), but did not stay at, was Islet Lake:

The other lake which would be accessible with a few hours to spare is The Moat below Citadel Shelf - via a fairly open spur running down from near The Citadel (East Citadel) & a pretty easy bash down to the lake shore, we didn't really find time to do this tho & there was plenty of water in the creek at camp. Citadel Shelf is the obvious flat area at the left of photo.

Thanks Stu for posting the extra pics - especially the panorama from Remote Pk looking south to Port Davey - an area that I am keen to explore some day.
