Images are taken on a Zero Image 6x12 pinhole camera, this is a wooden box, no lens and Fuji Neopan B&W film. This is as basic a camera as you will ever use. everything is guestamation, with no viewfinder, no metering. I like using this rudimentary camera as it's a surprise to see what the thing has captured. It's f158 makes just about everything sharp, well as sharp as a pinhole can be. Just something a little different

They are fabulous - how about an image of the implement itself?

Nice one, the images come out quite moody and atmospheric. How do you work out the exposure times or is it just trial and error?

Great shots! I once made my own pinhole camera using a Milo tin, they're a lot of fun.

That's incredible. People pay a fortune for fancy cameras then run the images through expensive software to get something half as moody as what you've done with a wooden box! I'd love to see more pics from the camera, and the camera itself too!!!

Thanks everyone, it's a lot of fun, I'll get a pic as soon as I can of the camera and I'll dig out some I shot on Velvia as well.
Exposure on B&W film is guessed, I work off Sunny 16 rule and experience pretty much to work out exposures. If your not sure of Sunny 16 rule its simply is tat if the sun is behind your back and you use 1/film ISO @f16 so with 100ISO on a Sunny day you would shoot at 1/125 @ f16. If the subject is side lite you open up one top and back lit two stops. You get to read light well if you practice this.

I'm new here and properly dragging up some old threads but great to see somebody else that uses pinhole while bush walking. The zero image is a great tool to create some great images as you have proven.
