I too had considered starting something like the "Show us your best image of Wineglass Bay" but Nik got there first with his "Cradle Mountain" topic.
Perhaps this theme may develop into a Galley sub-section - "Tassie Icons" :D
Anyway, here are some photos of Wineglass Bay to kick it off. These were the last time I took my old Konica film SLR with 21mm ƒ2.8 lens out bush in March 2005.

Nice photos Ian, well I don't have any of cradle but I have a couple of Wineglass, this one is a bit of a different view to the normal one on the postcards!

A nice "moody" shot - I haven't yet been up over the Hazards, so with the photo angles to the bay from there, will put that destination on my "TO DO' list 8)

Yeah definantly worth the steep little walk to get the views, although a little slippery when wet!

I can't take credit for that. ;-)

I can! :P

So, let's see if I can't find one or two Wineglass Bay photos...
Or 3 or ....
Oops too many - help me vote some out...
Anyone - PM me the numbers you think should be removed and I will edit.

These are the days when we never used to shoot in raw, as well, one of the cameras was an Olympus non-DSLR so the colours were a bit out. I fixed things a bit in most of them.
Enjoy the show, sorry 'bout the size (3.7Mb).

WOW ADAM  8) - the range of moods you have captured around Wineglass has now broken my concentration and spoilt the rest of this Friday afternoon for work - now feel like putting the boots and pack in the car and just ESCAPING to Freycinet, or anywhere . . . . <sigh> back to work

Just found this thread so thought I would bump it and add a few of mine.

Firstly from the higher points around the bay.

How did you manage to find a time when it would be only your footprints on the sand?
Lovely images.

And they're mostly my footprints, too. I just did a bit of walking back and forth, watching the dolphins . . .

Spent a few days at Freycinet last week and walked in spite of the rain squalls to see a different mood of Wineglass Bay in winter. The recent south easterly weather direction had chopped up the beach and the surf was spectacular!

And in complete contrast, Hazards Lagoon was full to the edge of the forest for the first time for many years, and calm and peaceful.
