My 2007 "Short list" - WARNING 84 photos, 6.5Mb
Posted: Sat 11 Oct, 2008 8:51 amChoosing just 3 photos for the 2007 Photo of the Year competition was very difficult.
I had all sorts of trouble picking my favourite three.
I started off with a short list, then made it shorter, and shorter, and finally narrowed it down to about 30...
So my final 3 were as chosen by some friends.
Now that voting has finished, here is my first "short list" after going through all my 2007 photos...
Some of the ones I left out of this list were pretty hard to leave too, got to draw a line somewhere.
I have the same problem every time - trying to choose juist one photo...
A couple of notes - I loaded this page and needed to click refresh a couple of times before all the images displayed completely - probably something to do with the web host.
When I viewed it on my laptop with a non-widescreen display, I noticed it was clipping the right edge of the photos. An easy way of telling whether this is happening on your display is with the final picture in this post - the eagle has the same amount of sky on the left wing as it does on the right - if you do not see this, the images are being cut off on the right edge.
