Slightly off topic

I can't really claim that these are bush walking photos - I was standing in the doorway of the shack we were staying at near Binalong Bay. Still, I think that the subject will interest most walkers - certainly the sight blew me away.

Thanks for sharing these Pedro - well worth posting!

A friend told me yesterday of being startled by a sea eagle take off carrying a Tassie Devil (apparently healthy apart from being dead :roll:).
She thought probably road kill, though it was on a very quiet road near Woolnorth. Did manage photos, but I haven't seen them.

I'm having a bit of a lucky run here - something to do with hanging around the coast a bit. The Australian Plant Society (APS) had a few walks on Bruny Island last weekend. I saw several sea eagles over the weekend, but this one flew right overhead on the way to Cape Queen Elizabeth- superb sight:
