These shots are from November 08. I climbed Mt Murchison, but all I got to see was the inside of a few clouds. I was still able to get a few interesting shots of the snow, rocks and mist. Eggs' post shows what its like in good weather!

Small lake visible early on in the climb. The clouds arrived shortly after.

A section of track, perhaps the cloud makes it easier.

Even without a view this was an enjoyable walk. I'm definitely keen to head back in good weather one day.

And I thought it was always sunny on the west coast :D

Looks like that snow & ice covered tree sums up your day.

I used to live in rosbery and would wake up every day and look at that mountain. I always found it strange that none of the locals ever climbed it. I eventually persuaded my next door neighbor and some mainlander friends to hike up there with me. I remember looking at the lakes inside it and thinking of lost worlds never seen before by man. Pretty silly but it really has a sense of mystery about it.

Nice shots wello.

Last time I went up (end of last year too) the weather wasn't too crash hot. The cloud lifted just high enough for some views. It was a bit of a disappointment really, from what I'm told the view is awesome on a clear day. Defiantly heading back again some time.
