Part 4 – Window Pane Bay.

Window Pane Bay is a special place. It is probably the most remote point on the South West Cape circuit – about 3 days’ walking from Melaleuca in either direction. When I arrived it appeared no-one had passed through for some time; the dunes and beach were pristine, no sign of human presence except for a discretely hidden campsite by Window Pane Creek and the very occasional piece of jetsam at the high water line. Having such a remote, beautiful and pristine beach all to myself was indeed a rare privilege. I stayed for two full days.

Beautiful place, beautiful images - although the wildlife in that last photo is a bit worrying.

True! On the evening of the second day at Window Pane Bay two other parties arrived - campsite population grew from 1 to 6. Again at Noyhener I had the first day to myself but that night two more parties arrived and 1 became 10...

No problems there but at Horseshoe Creek I got caught with my pants down - literally Me and two other walkers getting ready for the swim across the creek, all gear off and packed in waterproof bags, suddenly there is a rustling sound from behind, I look around and there's a HWC party of 7, 5 of whom were women They took it well though and didn't flinch, seen it all before I'm sure.

No filters or post to enhance skies, just the usual levels, curves, colour balance etc in Photoshop for overall correction of the scans. I always carry GNDs and did use them for some shots on this trip but not the ones in this set as the light was within the latitude of the films used.
