Black Bluff

Went for a stroll up Black Bluff last Friday. Perfect day and the the view was a stunner, especially considering the weather the day before and since. Still a bit of snow and clearly heaps of it further inland.

That's a stunner of a panno Pedro! I spent quite a few minutes zoomed in and following along the peaks on the skyline in the full size image. How many photos did it take to assemble this panorama, and did you use a tripod?

Hi Tas-man

There are about a dozen pics in there. All hand held - just did a big sweep along the horizon, clicking as I went - didn't worry about locking exposure or anything like that.

I used Hugin to put it together - someone on this site recommended it. It certainly produces good results - good compensation for exposure variation and all. Photostich was thrown in with my Canon, but its results are no where near as good.

Oh man! That is beautiful!
I actually got goose bumps when I was looking at that shot of the Anne range Truly truly stunning!!
