There's still some fire damage south of Citadel Shelf.

Great shots Martin, who's got the gold tent, the Usain Bolt of bushwalking?

Grat photos MJD!

By the way - is that a Hilleberg Allak in the photos? Any chance of a bit of a review of the tent? It's at the top of my list for my next purchase in terms of specs, but haven't found many reviews on the web.

Cheers

Luke, it's a Hilleberg Soulo - I have put up a brief review in the 'equipment' section:

The gold tent is my MSR Hubba. And I'm certainly not the Usain Bolt of the group. I'm usually the slowest but I am happy to walk all day. I did manage to sneak off in front a couple of times when the others stopped for a break and I kept going :) .

I think he meant the one in the third pic that looks gold. Is that Jez's or Dave's new one? Great pics, BTW, and finally a pic in some (light) scrub!

HaHa, slow and steady wins the race anyhow.
Just caught your photos from Thetis etc viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1827&p=15360&hilit=achilles#p15360 - Awesome pics.
Off there on the 4th :)
