Hi

Just new to this forum.
Living on the lower slopes of The Mountain it is something of a passion of mine. Just thought I'd post a random selection of some of my mountain pics:

Wow you were unlucky, I think it's only been in cloud a few days all summer, mind you it's still nice up there in cloud :)

Great pics Geoff, welcome to the forum!

Loved them. Reminded me of the Dombrovskis book I've got somewhere in my library. I'll have to contact you next time I'm down and maybe have a walk together?
Where are those falls, are they Strickland? I only descended as far as O'Grady's.
Cheers, Ian

Thanks for the kind words folks.
Ian - Dombrovskis' work is always a great inspiration to me, and yes, the falls are Strickland (just up the road from home). PM me when you're next in Hobart & see what we can arrange.
Sam - the rocks are natural. Broken dolerite columns that are (very) slowly falling over.
