Thought I'd better get a few of these on, I find it really hard to chose which photos to post which is why they take a long time to get here.

Looks like the Pleiades are quartzite.

looks like nice walking once you're up on the range, plus the weather picked up toward the end hey.

The walking's not quite as easy as it looks, although it's better with long legs. Lots of high stepping but it beats pushing through scrub. We only had one day when it didn't rain at all, luckily it was the day we went up Pokana Peak.

No, it wasn't bad on top, or on the way up. Coming down was a very different matter!

Had to look up TheList when Rachel posted these Ian. North of Lake Gordon. Just south west of Lake Rhona. Rachel takes a great photo.
