Drys Bluff 24/5

Went for a knee torturing treck up Drys Bluff a fornight ago. Wasn't a bad day for it besides being slightly hazy as it seems to be everytime we climb a peak. Have to say on a clear day the view from the top would be magic. The track on the platau wasn't as well defined as stated in a couple of the older threads on here. Didn't actually go all the way to the trig point but I'd say we didn't miss too much.

BTW I hate my camera

Thanks for the photos, Crum. the track is steep little so and so isn't it. At least there are some interesting rock formations and little climbs to amuse. By the way, there is a nasty rumour that the trig is not the high point on Dry's. Apparently that is some distance to the southwest of where you reach the plateau. Any Wedgetails around when you were there? (oops - should look at the photos more carefully).

Very steep but well worth the tackle. From the trig point the Great lake can be viewed.
