Frenchman's Feb '10

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting images here so let me know if I'm doing it wrong!

Here's some shots from a 4 day trip into Frenchman's Cap last Feb. The weather wasn't brilliant so I didn't get many good landscape shots but it was a fun trip anyway :-) Shot on an Olympus E-3 and ZD 12-60.

Critique welcome!

Love the macro shots, thanks for sharing :D
Glad to see you didn't get there without 'experiencing' the Soddon Loddons

Thanks guys :-)

It hadn't rained in over 3 weeks and the Loddon's were still waist deep in places... Pat disappeared at one point. Fun fun :-)

The purple flower is Isophysis tasmanica. The butterfly is Macleay's Swallowtail (Graphium macleayanus) very close to the end of it's life. I think the red one is Tasmanian Christmas Bell ( Blandfordia punicea), but don't take my word for it.

I thought he was referring to the orchid.
