Postby ILUVSWTAS » Wed 21 Jul, 2010 8:38 am

Thanks Drifting!
You know I have considered going back to that old Lumix 6.0mp camera, it has such nice colour.
Pretty hard not to take a nice photo of the beaches down there though!

Good to see photographs from users of this site appearing around the place. Must submi another one to the Examiner. So far two out of three made it.

Cheers Brett

Yes I guess I should be pleased they added and spelt my name correctly.

Is Hallam really so hard?? We get Hallem, Halem, Hallum... My poor wife (Phoebe) now has to spell out both names P, H, O, E...........

**loud applause**

Not for the photo, but for your exquisite taste in AwFuL teams.

ps: You'd be amazed how many people manage to misspell 'Evans' . . . and how many ways they do so. I deliberately made my first name difficult to spell as revenge . . .

Har har har, the Hawks have a pretty good membership currently, second only to Colliwobbles.

I wish I had a good camera, this was taken on a very cheap, Panasonic Lumix 6.0mp which is now 10 years old.

Do you come to any Hawks games that we host up at this end of the state Mark? I didn't get to the Lions match but was able to see the games against the Kangaroos and the Crows.

ps GO BLUES!! (he says unconvincingly after the form we've showed in the past month or so) :(

I used to go to every game in the first couple of years Phil, then they started getting flogged every time and it was too depressing. Last couple of years I have been quite slack and not been up. I did try to go last year but the game had sold out when I got around to trying to get a ticket.

Now my boy is a bit older and kind of interested in the football I must get my A into G and get up there!!

I cant believe after 2 big losses Ratten's name has been mentioned along side those coaches likely to be axed!! (Knights, Voss and Worsfold) They will bounce back im sure.

Haha Grrr...
If it was anywhere but the poor excuse for a field that is Ethiad, i'd be confident. Im still thinking we should win, just not as easily as if it was at the G.

And Cats to win by as much as we flogged the Lions by last week.....

Very. Poor umpiring throughout the game (not JUST for the hawks) Poor rule at the end of the game denied a 13pt lead under 2 mins to go. Poor defending on the goalline by us with 15seconds to go. Played on a Poor excuse for a football ground. Top game still, ah well 5th spot we gotta chase now, hope for a home final against either Sydney, Nth, or Adelaide! (Carlton = GONE)

So are Carlton still gone Mark? .......and Adelaide in after the weekend's results?

Very disappointed by the Hawks finish to the game on Friday night; I picked them by 12 in the tipping here at work and thought I'd got it when Cyril put through that last goal only to see it disallowed and the game turn on it's head!!
