Friendly Beaches...again

Postby Mickeymoo » Fri 18 Feb, 2011 11:15 am

Ok well as some of you may have noticed I love the Friendly Beaches as I have posted numerous photos in the past! and while not strictly bushwalking they are in a National Park :) so I thought I'd put a few up that I got on my recent trip up there around Aus Day, where I spent 4 days up there relaxing. The light was a little ordinary for the Friendly Beaches, as was the tide (tip: low tide and small swell is not good at the Friendly beaches for compositions) with two dud sunrises, but I was rewarded for the early starts on the last morning with a magic sunrise and good swell to help combat the low tide!

LOL. I feel so unworthy to own a camera after seeing that. Wonderful!

+ 1. My best ever shot doesn't even come close to your worst Michael. And you never have any bad ones! Lovely work. :)

Agreed!!
Beautiful as ever. I love how you just know there's some editing going on, but it's so subtle and friendly looking you cant quite tell what.
Nothing to see here.

Ditto for me, I especially love the sand dune shot, I can feel the cool sand scrunching underneath my bare feet, smell the salt in the air and feel the cool morning air against my face!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone :)

I use Singh Ray filters, I have found them to be very good and well worth the money, with minimal colour casts and good scratch resistance, which comes in handy when wiping salt water off them!!
