Just a few shots from Pine Lake? on the way into Great Lake over the weekend. Nice to see a bit of snow!

Stunning. And to think you can see it just stepping out of the car (presumably with chains).
Fjording for the Pines?

I too think the landscapes in these photos are beautiful. They give me the desire to shake off my aversion to the cold and adventure down to Tas during the winter months sometime...maybe next year. Nice work :)

Lol I love that phrase :)

We actually didn't have chains, which is why we only got to here... Once you got over the crest of the plateau and moved down toward Great Lake there was a lot more snow and ice... It's a wonderful little walk that PWS have done though :)

Pteropus - the Tassie highlands are at their best in winter, if you don't mind the weather
