A new toy

Picked mine up from Ikea last night, off to the hardware shop today to get all the bits to make it work. Here's the toy...

So I haven't made anything yet. I went to bunnings and they had nothing I was after. So off to United Fasteners in Springvale and I got some set screws. They'd never seen the bushing before which led to back to my joby tripod and some googling found that the bushing (for this project) is uniquely a camera product, have to get those from camera stores. When I get around to making it, I'll post photos, hopefully they'll look just as good as this blokes. No point me doing a DIY step by step, I found his specific instructions and they are great. Here they are...
