TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. I'm never wasting $ on expensive rainpants again... about a year ago i cut off a pair of el-cheapo rainbird pants just below knee hight (about at the top of my gaiters) they are still going well and work really well! $30 bucks well hacked up!

MD in Devonport have the Loongana in stock I tried a L and it is a really good length looks to be a good basic Rain Jacket and certainly value for money at $175.00 .

Mtn Des finally got the Loongana in, complete with another price reduction to $150. The big plus is that it does come down to my knees and I'm 6'. The major minus is that it has velcro intead of press studs. This doesn't seem to be a price thing either, as many of their more expensive jackets also have velcro. Anyway at the price I figured I couldn't go too far wrong, so I bought one. The way the weather's been in NSW recently, I'll get to try it out real soon.
The M and the L sizes were about the same length, the chest size being noticeably different. They only got a handfull in, maybe one in each size, and they are only at Kent St.
