We get into Hobart on the bus from St Clair which means we will be looking for a good feed in Hobart (preferably within walking of the City) at about 9PM. Any suggestions for an eatery that stays open late on Sunday night and is not an international franchise?

Options are not that great really. There is a 24 hour bakery and the pubs at Salamanca. Shamrock hotel might still be serving too (standard Aussie roast/parmies etc), depending on what is convenient from your accommodation?

Yeah, I wouldn't hang in the middle of the city. Head down to Salamanca, or into the North Hobart strip.
9pm Sunday is pushing it a little, but there should be something open and serving. I would expect a lot of the pubs would shut down the kitchen at around 9pm so you might be better off looking for a curry or similar.

We are at the Astor so everywhere is close.
Curry is good.

Give Little India a call to check when they close - just round the corner from the Astor
Little India
75 Harrington Street, Hobart
Telephone (03) 6272 7495
The Astor also has a restaurant - might still do a meal at that time (good food too), especially if staying there

Tandoor & Curry House isn't far away either. Best curry in Hobart!
