TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Finally - I can claim UL status with my hammock kit

Been working on this for a while now.

Few new items lately and I've finally had a chance to mod some gear and weigh some more stuff.
Very suprised with the Golite Jam2 and how well it carries considering it's frameless. Just have to pack it right.
Super pleased with some new hammockgear.com items, That has really slashed my pack weight.
Loving the new M50 and 7D fabrics.
I was caught out recently when temps were much lower than anticipated. Discovered that with my rain gear, long john's and a good vest I'm warm to freezing around camp. I haven't tested that in really windy weather yet though but I'm normally in a sheltered camp with the hammock anyway.
That Blackrock vest is awesome and very, very warm. For 124gm's it packs some serious punch, has about 1" loft.
I've ordered some 7d down sleeves from Ben at Goosefeet to supplement it in colder weather. Should weigh about 85gm's

Now at 3.72kgs (Or 8.2lbs) + food and water. Nearly sounds wrong compared to what I started out carrying ie: 20kgs.

Pretty happy with it. :D
Happy to post pictures of stuff if people want a better look.

Nice list.

I'm impressed with the weight of the down socks and booties - would be worth it for extra comfort at camp.

I haven't gone to an alcohol stove yet but have ordered one to play with. We'll see...

The only item I couldn't find was a compass.

I have most of that in with my tablets etc just bandaids, blister pads and can work wonders with a pressure bandage. Had plenty to deal with the poor woman that fell of the track above me on the Routeburn last year. Poor thing had a massive head wound as she fell a good 6 foot and landed on the rocks head first. Not a good finish to the walk.

I know what your saying. I played with a few DIY jobs but the caldera cone uses bugger all fuel and is lite !!
Not as quick as a gas cooker but hey, what's the rush ??
Works great in the wind too.

Normally I'm a bushbuddy dude (Add about a 100g to the cone system) but for this list I just went with what I have that is lightest.

Nice list of gear you have there. I'm working on getting down to those weights. Just need more money. :(
