TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Aldi have middle layer pure Merino wool thernal tops on sale today for $39.99.
I bought a few. Seem like great value compared to icebreakers!
Cheers.

You have to be quick as its not just bushwalkers that are interested in this gear. Was just looking at ADV forum ( Adventure Motorcycling forum) & those guys are lining up before the stores are even open.

Yeah I was lining up this morning. Got there base layer merino thermals a few weeks ago too. Had to line up also. Still, worth the wait considering the money I saved on 100% merino wool thermals.

Listed as a fine wool blend. I wonder what percentage of the blend is actually merino.
