TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Thumbs Up to GoLite

My son and I both bought GoLite Pinnacle packs about 12 months ago online through a US based dealer. We've been working on lightening our loads for occasional overnight trips, and these packs are really light. Since then, during a trip, son managed to jam one of the waist buckles in his car door. The unfortunate result was a broken buckle. I emailed GoLite customer service a few weeks ago asking for advice and they immediately offered to post a replacement free of charge, which arrived yesterday. In fact they sent the matching pair of buckles. Fantastic service and goodwill from GoLite and much appreciated.
