Anyone got any info on the current access restrictions to the road+track to Parson's Hood (NW area)?
Last I heard the mining mob out there were instructing people to take long walks off short piers.

The word is that you'll be fine if you have a dreadlocked wig on, wearing a Sea Shepherd T-Shirt and are carrying chains and a padlock.

This is the sign at the gate, plus a few other threats. I got lucky with a protest being staged near Mt Livingstone, made a sneaky ascent without any issues. I know ILUVSWTAS got caught and turned around. Maybe worth a night mission. There is a track to within 100m of the summit, then it is a tangly mess to find the high point.

I reckon we'll have a look - maybe on the Monday... public holiday and all. If we get turned back then so be it. Otherwise "I don't know nuffin"

Can you speak a few words of German, or any language? Makes playing dumb easy.

I'll tell them I'll give them my cut of the minerals resources rent tax if they let me walk up the damn mountain.

Are you thinking of going up Livingstone too? I know which one I'd prefer to waste 4 hours on.

Did that before xmas. Did it wrong, really, really wrong. In our defence, we couldn't see where to go due to mist, so we went straight at it rather than around the back.

Ah I wasn't sure if you were on that trip. I was warned about going straight at it. Glad I didn't!

It was fun, but I'm sure you know the kind of fun I mean. The character building type of fun.
