Do you own a Hilleberg Soulo?

Did you put any seam seal on it. I have read that maybe not necessary with Hilleberg.

No need to seam seal the Soulo or any other Hilleberg tent. I checked with Hilleberg (email) when I bought mine.
Got a Soulo meself. Had it for over 12 months.
Excellent tent. Rained on heavily at Wilsons Prom just recently on a bike tour. No leaks.
After a long day it is the easiest tent to pitch that I've ever owned.
I recommend fitting a footprint. Once attached you can leave it in place when packing up.
Only criticism is that it doesn't ventilate as well as my old Macpac Olympus or One Planet Caddis (industrial). They allow air to flow through from each end.
In all fairness to the Soulo I do most of my camping at seaside locations on bikes and kayaks in very damp/humid locations.

I disagree about seam sealing a Hilleberg tent.
I didnt do my Akto but when I had to set up my tent in running water at one end and a small pool at the other, the corners of the inner started to seep water, not badly, but enough. I contacted Hilleberg and they said that I would need to seam seal the corners( they did offer to send me seam sealer for free).
Also had to seal the fly, up near the small zip at the top of the door.

Hi Andrew,

I was under the impression it didnt need seam sealing and i wont bother about the fly, but will probably seam seal the four corners on the inner floor, after hearing about norts experience. I can imagine a heavy downpour overnight and waking up to a few inches of water(in certain campspots) under the tent and those four corners possibly letting some water in. Since i have brought the tent i have had nothing but perfect weather on my walks so havent given it any kind of work out.
