Baby it's cold down there

Postby Peaksnik » Tue 09 Jul, 2013 9:50 am

This news item is a good reminder for those of us in the balmy north contemplating winter walking in Tasmania (I'll be there next month).

Even walking the dogs is hazardous. Black ice on the footpath near home today!

Just doing some business in Armidale and 2 nights ago it was -7 followed by -5. It's only 7 degrees now.

Just had a look at the Cradle cams on parks site and it looks like some good snow down in Tassie.
