PLB hire - Hobart

Hi,

do you think it is necessary to book PLB for the period from 3.1.2014-24.1. at Service Tasmania in Hobart or would it
be ok to just go there when we come to Hobart on 3.1. Is there a way to book over a mail or web page?

The only way i can find is over the phone: 1300 135 513

It's probably best to book. It can't hurt and it'll mean you don't have to worry about it.

From memory, you have to call. It shouldn't take very long.

You could always grab the hire form from that page and fill it in, scan it (or photograph it) and then send it via email to the service Tasmania helpdesk email at sthelp@dpac.tas.gov.au

Also make sure to tell them that you want to pickup in Hobart.

I did as you suggested and in few hours i got a reply from helpdesk, that they reserved
PLB for me.
