TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. Tasadam pointed me to this post, and we both think it's a good idea. I'm just thinking about the best way to go about it, since we don't even have a "Gear" forum yet. I've got an idea for what I think will work well... will get back to you shortly.
Admin: Maybe this forum needs a board for 'Techno Babble' so we can talk about computers and software and GPS and other Geek gadgets! Maybe? Huh! Perhaps?

OK I've created an 'Equipment' forum here now, and after the upgrade to phpBB 3 I will add a 'Techno Babble' subforum to it.
