Is AAWT possible in winter (solo)?
I have some long service leave coming up next year 2015 and looking for a big project to take on.
Has anyone ever done it in winter solo.

Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.

Depends exactly where you camp, but plenty of people camp up on the Main Range or near Dead Horse Gap in winter.

Just don't camp in the catchments of the glacial lakes..
