TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Super Cheap Autos have on Sale for $6.99 a 24 LED Light which runs on 3AAA batteries its total weight is 96g with a hanging hook ,strong Magnet and a nice light output, worthwhile checking out.
No idea as to battery life but I suspect it would be good for at least a few nights will be testing it out on my next walk at the end of August.
