The trip could well be summarised by one paragraph from my blog: "Each day we climbed something of note, saw many wonderful tarns and (with one exception) got rained on with varying ferocity. We pitched and depitched in the rain, and walked and ate in the rain - but don't fret. We did have some blissful moments of sunshine, particularly appreciated because of the contrast factor. Warmth and a view were not things we took for granted." For photos of the 2 moments of sunshine

and the tarns and summits in the drizzle as well as a more filled out trip report of our route through this fascinating area that reminded me of both the Labyrinth and the Walls (hardly surprising as it is near both), see my blogsite:
http://natureloverswalks.blogspot.com.au/I am a bit disappointed in the photos - my pack was way too heavy to add in my 2kg full-frame camera (and it was far too wet to have it hanging around my neck), so if you like them, please tell me and you might cheer me up. Cheers, Louise.

Wow Louise, you have a great blog and great photo's! I very much enjoyed your trip report having ventured onto the Traveller Range once a few years ago myself. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Louise
I thought of you as I followed the forecast. Really enjoyed the blog and photos. My favourite, the view from Ida, one I hope to experience directly one day!
