For many years I refused to drink instant coffee and would drag a stove top expresso maker out into the bush or brew strong 'cowboy coffee' with a tea strainer to catch the grounds. After a few overseas trips to China, Japan and the USA where finding a good expresso coffee is very challenging and mostly impossible I discovered I can live without coffee (and now go cold turkey in these countries rather than drink bad coffee)
However my return to instant coffee for camping started with the Moccona Cappuccino sachets (long skinny packets) and now I've switched to the Moccona Iced coffee sachets, I can't drink super hot drinks anyway and the Iced Coffee saves having to heat water in the morning on a walk. I consider these coffee flavoured drinks rather than true coffee but they work for me as a way to start the day.

I'll try these Safeway "Latte" over the next week and then try the Moccona after that I may get used to Caterers Blend again after all
