Hey TC, what route did you take up to blue peaks summit? I was studying it from my glorious lunch spot and thought I would try and find a way up next time.

I went almost due W off the track just N of some pencil pines, [which are marked on the 1:25000}

Thank you, that will save me some time scouting around. Fisher Bluff is on my list also, but I think I will do that as a separate walk, leaving the track before the peaks via Frozen Lagoon.

I walked to Fisher Bluff via Harry Lees lake, crossing to the W side at the lake bridge. It was easier to get onto Fisher Bluff on the less steep ground N of Harry Lees sticking to the easy ground as far as possible. Most of the way was easy Heidi walking.

I think that's the way I came down.
Have to go back to get the views. It was socked in while I was there (ditto Blue Peaks). Even snowed while I was at the summit.

I imagine that was a navigational challenge nnw.

Not really. I knew more or less where I needed to go, even if it was the long way around from where I'd made camp. The lower bits weren't too bad, and the snow was brief (unlike that night, where it didn't stop until after sunrise). And it all lifted once I started heading back down. Even got some sunshine.
