Ok - kramster handed to me - which was a bit dangerous this weekend.
But the 2 handed deck from ILUVSWTAS had the magic words Liffy Falls - so you are next (don't ask me to proxy but..)

I must admit - I have been to Liffey Falls - but never noticed this part before.

I thought it might have been Hartz Lake but that's a very rough guess - It just doesnt quite look right...

Lake in question is quite smaller than Hartz.

Couldn't sleep!

Was alarmed to discover I can't remember the exact spot lots of my photos were taken from. But I remember this place.

Yes. Mt Lloyd. Was going to do Brown Mtn as well but Martin tried to stand up while sitting under the trig station and hurt his back/side pretty bad!

I am a bit envious if its where I think it is.
I suspect you are at Lake Curly looking south west to the ridge that leads up to Conical Mountain.
In fact, I think you can just see its top peaking over the ridge line.

One of the more remote magical places in Tas.

spot on eggs it was taken from a camp on the sandy beach at Lake Curly :) One of the most beautiful places in Tassie!

Tried to reply on blackberry about 5 times, but since Nik shifted it from members only to open view, it seems to kick me out (back to log in page) just as I am sending a reply - even though I was already logged in ??

Anyway - Nick S has got it right.
We were getting close to the top of Mt Murchison at the time - you will note the pink/purple congomerate we were standing on - so typical of the West Coast Range. The view is of the centre of the OT area - Pelion West & East - Ossa - Ducaine with Geryon prominant down to Gould and the Guardians.

Depends on when you tried Eggs. There was an issue with the server between 4 & 5.00 PM today.

I think Nik has regular Sunday maintenance - as it has often been down for about an hour on Sunday afternoons.
However, the Blackberry issue was not related to the outage.
It is when you log in to reply & all goes well until you try to SEND. Then it kicks you back to the login page.
It might be a Blackberry setting?
But I suspect its behaviour changed when Nik made the competition visible to all.

Not sure Eggs. I will leave it to Nik to ponder why it doesn't like/remember the original authentication and whether it is forum related. You haven't changed anything to do with your Blackberry / ISP connection that might cause it to time out?

Yes there was a problem with the hosting site for a while this afternoon (which appears to have affected this sits indirectly as we're not hosted on the server I'm question). There is no regular maintenance time for this site. I only take it down myself for about five minutes every three months, roughly, when an update or change is applied.

Eggs issue has me perplexed. I can't see how it could possibly be related to any change made here but I've learned that there's rarely such a thing as coincidence in IT. Let me know if you think of any other factors that may be relevant and I'll continue to ponder it. However if it only affects one platform then I suspect it is probably an issue with that platform.
