After six months procrastination I finally got around to writing a trip report.
Hopefully you can find some humour and/or inspiration.

Worth waiting for. One of the best trip reports I've ever read.
It's a pleasure to 'meet' such a literary young walker in an age when most people have difficulty stringing two words together without misspelling and/or misusing at least one of them.
May you have many more adventures and keep up the writing. Thank you.

I agree, that was brilliant. Thanks for taking the time to write about it. What an epic walk.
Nice photos as well.

Ha ha, excellent gas, glad you kept your sense of humour through all the off-track madness, thanks for sharing
Had our plans come together we would have crossed paths somewhere, our group was stuck at the Gordon River on Jan 1st intending an in/out from that direction;
but due to 2 helicopter evacs as we sat & waited for subsidence we went for a lazy stroll through the WA's instead, never a bad Plan B choice.
Hoping the weather gods smile on us for the Spires et al this summer & look forward to more of your adventures in the future; can I recommend the POW's?

Was thinking of you and the lads whilst reading this one, Stu. You obviously got the dates wrong. Wouldn't have mattered getting stuck at the river if you were on the other side and on your way back . . .

Save it for Nereus. You'll probably need it to get back through all that scrub.
