TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Its usually $100 on top of that price for the cuben versions so its a great price. The $225 is for the robic fabric. I have a purple circuit in the robic. They are a great pack. Must...resist...

The Massdrop ones were Cuben hybrid. That said, the Catalyst with normal fabric is listed at 48 oz or 1360g, which is only 60g heavier than the Cuben version. Doesn't sound right.

Be sure to let us know how it goes.
Massdrop typically take a while to deliver. I think my down quilt took about 6 weeks to deliver. Worth it in the end.

No worries (good find).
Static V Lite/ 183x 58.4x 6.4cm.. 556g
I can say that they win outright on comfort, the extra width, the little pockets on the side like 'rails'.
I'll get a chance to use it more in the cold soon, imagine that the welds are comparatively strong.. though you probably have to align thinking with Klymits 'method' re the wide gaps they create.

Just saw a new item on Massdrop, a Spyderco knife. Amazon's price is close to 50% cheaper. So it would appear there is still a need to compare prices carefully.

Cold. Felt at +1/2c. I suspect they could work better with a thicker sleeping bag (ie. disproportionately warmer), with more loft to fill the gaps,
..rather than thin bag/ clothing combo.
They are, however, cheap for the quality build and are otherwise a notably comfortable mat to sleep on. generally- Thumbs Up! (so far).
