Transport Options - Western Arthurs

Postby nq111 » Sat 31 Oct, 2015 7:55 am

We are looking at walking the Western Arthurs about April next year.

On other visits to Tassie we have always hired a car but I would prefer a bus if it was an option. Does anyone know of current options to Scotts Peak Dam for two?

Thanks in advance.

If you don't find anything suitable, PM me closer to the date. I may be able to help out for a reasonable price.

Thanks all,

That gives me a few options to work through leading up to April.

Hi guys,

A friend of mine and I are doing the Western Arthurs traverse, Jan 8-15, and have hired a bus to go from Hobart to Scotts Peak Dam on Jan 8, and to pick us up from SPD going back to Hobart on Jan 15. We would love to share the costs for the bus ($250 each way) if anyone else is thinking of doing the WAT then?! We may be a little flexible on those dates if needs be. Look forward to hearing from anyone!
