Hi Folks
We are a couple of families, 50 something parents and teenage kids
planning to walk in to Lake Oberon in mid January.
In our youth we have all done the Arthurs numbers of times and now want to introduce our children.
We are all experienced walkers with many long distance and high altitude walks around the world over the years.
However the weather has been unsettled so far this summer with 80-100km+ winds on several days
so we are looking for some alternatives if the forecasts are particularly bad.
We have done trips to the Blue Peaks, the Walls and the Overland
so we are looking for some other suggestions of about 5 days duration, not too exposed
and not too hard.
Of course if the weather is particularly bad we will head off to the east coast.
Can the walk to Lake Rhona be extended onto the Denison range for a few days?
Any other suggestions???
Thanks with appreciation
John
