TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I ended up getting the Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2. For the pack I went for the ULA Circuit.

I've been in Japan the last three weeks so haven't tested it in the field yet, only my backyard. The size is absolutely perfect. I bought it with the intention of using it with my girlfriend, and also any solo trips I go on. The vestibule size is really big on each side which can store both our bags and boots easily. It's really quick and easy to set up, and there is plenty of ventilation. My only concern is that the floor material is quite thin, but I'll comment on that after use in the field. There is always optional footprint I can purchase.
