TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Snow Peak

Does anyone know why Snow Peak has little to no stock and you virtually can't get anything here domestically.

I'm looking for a single wall 300 mug but I can't seem to find one any where.

When I wanted some Snow Peak I purchased it on line from there Japan site. They said they had a dealership in Tassie but I told them I was over 200kms from there store and they sold it to me. Just used their contact detail on the site. It was alot cheaper than purchasing it here in Australia.
That was a few years ago so I cant say if they will still do it

No connection either, but their prices seem very reasonable compared to other Snow Peak dealers (both in Aus and overseas). I've ordered a couple of things from them over the weekend, and will eventually get them to provide the rear draw setup for my Troopy, I think. I'll post back how it all goes.

It's a shame they don't stock the Ti mini gear.

I recommend Drifta also, i bought a bunch of stuff off them a while ago. Great people to deal with and fantastic prices.

Ebay Japan also has lots of sellers and very good prices.

Had a look at Drifta and they only have the double skin mugs which is a shame. Very extensive range otherwise though!

I've just purchased what I needed from Snow Peak directly, just!!!!

It would appear that Snow Peak has limited supply left around the world and their own stores are very very limited in what they have available. If you need something, now might be a good time to grab it.

Makes me wonder whats going on with them, so many products, and with the titanium stuff getting cheaper as chinese companies get better at it..... Its gotta be hard for them.

Is it possible that they were also affected by the Japanese tsunami? I know that this was the case with Evernew.
