Hi All
Wondering if anyone can give me some info in relation to transferring data from the LISTmap to GPS. Can this be done? Especially things like the Land tenure data set?
Thanks in advance.
regards,
Matt

There are a few different ways to get there, unfortunately there is no straight forward one click solution.
You need to add the Land Tenure layer, then export / clip and ship to an ESRI shapefile (or one of the other formats).
You then need to somehow convert that shp file data to the format required for your GPS.
There are plenty of tools out there that can convert a shp to garmin.
But depends on what sort of GPS you are talking about.
The whole process is non-trivial and your end result might not be as exciting as you hope.
Some GPS units can handle KML / KMZ files (google earth) so that is your other option.
Good luck..

Thanks for the info Azza.
From my take on your reply it would be easier to make a paper copy and plot a few markers on the GPS as a guideline lol.
I will have a play latter tonight and see what I come up with. Thanks again for the reply!
Cheers
Matt

NOTE: You can only load a few maps at a time, not the whole state

What are the layers that you regularly want to view?
