TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi Brett,
I can sympathise, but it's not only in Tassie bush

. Here is one of my new pair of Treks about halfway through a walk of a similar distance in the Blue Mountains, after maybe 2kms off track in relatively easy but rocky terrain. They looked far worse by the end (but not quite as bad as yours

). I've since worked them over with tan boot polish and Snoseal and they look like show ponies again. Yet to get around to continue breaking them in though.
