Hmmm. Bill didn't send a message out to say they were ready to be picked up so I didn't. *inserts smug comment*

My copy just arrived - it's a real improvement on the last edition.

Yay! It's here! (jumps for joy).

It looks fantastic, cannot wait to sit down and look through thoroughly. :) :) :)

My hardcover copy arrived in WA today. Since it's to be my Xmas present I was only allowed a very quick look by the Mrs, but that was enough to agree that it is a wonderful book and a major improvement on the first edition. There is a host of improvements to the layout and a vastly increased number and quality of photos.

The printing error on page 33 is so insignificant (it affects a small part of only one quite unimportant photo) that I changed my mind and have decided to keep it as my only copy, rather than request a reprint.

Unless you're a perfectionist I'm confident you'll be more than satisfied if you buy the edition that is currently in the shops (plus you'll get to enjoy it sooner).

It's just a minor bleed on some copies. And they're pulping the whole lot and reprinting? What a waste of trees.
